This committee oversees all paid staff relations. They are responsible hiring staff and they work with the
Cabinet and District Superintendent in Pastor assignments. The committee evaluates staff performance
and recommendation of raises. These duties require members to uphold the utmost in confidentiality.
While these are important responsibilities, the greatest privilege of the committee is to work with the
Pastor in having success in his/her ministry while at Red Bank United Methodist Church. The members
play an important role in the success of the minister's appointment. The committee depends on the
congregation to communicate with them the positive work of all the staff members. The committee
also must respond to any problem areas or concerns brought to them. Meetings occur as needed.
The PPRC coordinates any pastoral moves that the Conference designates. The smooth transition
of the outgoing Pastor and the incoming Pastor sets the tone and reflects the spirit of the congregation
