United Methodist Men
From the time of the founding of our denomination, men have sought to join together in mission
and Christian fellowship. Through the Men’s Club, we can help each other live out this commitment
to God, family, and church. Our call is for men of the United Methodist Church to be involved
intentionally in bearing witness to our Christian values. Men are just now beginning to realize
that there is more to life than they presently enjoy. God has planted a potential for spiritual
enrichment in every man. Fulfilling that potential should be the major purpose of his life. When
men meet together, it is discovered they can come to God with their needs and the gifts they have
to offer. One thing is for certain, men are tired of wading in the shallows, they want to plunge
into the ocean depths of an experience with God.
Join us as we share together monthly, serve dinners, retreat to Elijah Clark State Park, Bar-B-Q
Pork and Chicken for Harvest Fest, help others through “Sonny’s Helping Hands” ministry, and support
the men who attend Promise Keepers. Every man of the church is encouraged to fellowship with each
other on the fourth Monday night of each month at 7:00 p.m. Our meeting will include a meal,
devotion and/or speaker, and a planning session on how to serve our church.
There are many more ways to be a servant through the United Methodist Men. If you are interested
or have questions, please call our pastor at 359-4031 or any of our officers:
